The project
Abitare in Agordino is a service dedicated to those who dream of living in the mountains, moving to the Agordino area, or simply finding new opportunities to stay.
It was created to support people in discovering a territory rich in nature, community, and opportunities, offering information, guidance, and personalized support.
A reference point for those who want to better understand the area, explore available opportunities, and build their future life here.

Where the service comes from
The service was launched as part of the project “Strengthening the culture of hospitality”, funded by the Interreg VI-A Italy–Austria | CLLD Dolomiti LIVE 2021–2027 program.
Through cooperation between Alpine regions, the project promotes the exchange of experiences, new ideas, and shared solutions for the future of mountain areas.
The initiative supports the social development of mountain regions and addresses demographic change, with the goal of counteracting depopulation and enhancing local communities.
The project, with a total contribution of €159,991.74 (80% of the total cost), involves:

The project actively works to counteract depopulation, offering a shared service across the whole Agordino area, covering all sixteen municipalities of the Unione Montana Agordina:
Agordo, Alleghe, Cencenighe Agordino, Canale d’Agordo, Colle Santa Lucia, Falcade, Gosaldo, La Valle Agordina, Livinallongo del Col di Lana, Rivamonte Agordino, Rocca Pietore, San Tomaso Agordino, Selva di Cadore, Taibon Agordino, Vallada Agordina and Voltago Agordino.
